Brittany Loya was born and raised in Denver, Colorado where they currently reside. They hold an Associate of Arts from the Community College of Denver and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado Denver with an emphasis in Art Practices.

Brittany works with oil paint, graphite, ink, and alternative photography methods to explore cycles of growth and decay, personal transformation, and memory. Their work has been exhibited around Denver in spaces like The Temple, EDGE Gallery, Pirate Contemporary Art, Downtown Aurora Visual Arts, Emmanuel Gallery, and Experience Gallery. Brittany spent July 2025 studying abroad on the west coast of Ireland at the Burren College of Art, where they also exhibited their work. Brittany’s artwork has been featured in publications like Westword, The Sentry Newspaper, and CU Denver News.

In 2025, Brittany interned at K Contemporary Art and as of March 2026 they are a gallery attendant at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver.
